Squadron Trips

Sqn Trips

The Squadron has its own trips throughout the year. These are mainly organised by the cadets themselves.

These Squadron trips so far have been a day or a long weekend. Maybe your up to the challenge of planning a Squadron Trip for longer than that? Don't worry if you've never done it before, we'll show you how!!

The most recent trip was to London. Whilst in London we visited the Imperial War Museum and The Science Museum and didn't get lost at all. All thanks to the great planning of Corporal Markey.

Sqn Trips

The France trip is another of the Squadron Trips organised by Corporal Markey. The France Trip was over the 2004 August Bank Holiday, (Friday to Monday). This was the first trip to be organised by a cadet on our Squadron.

While in France we visited:
Caen memorial, Pegasus Bridge, Ouistreham (sword beach – British), Courseulles-sur-Mer (juno beach – Canadian), Arromanches (gold beach – British), Musée du Débarquement, Colleville-sur-Mer (omaha beach – USA) (Saving Private Ryan beach), Point du Hoc, Bayeux (+ tapestry), Utah beach – USA, Ste-Mére-Eglise and Caen.
