Flt Lt Alexander assumes command of 1996 Earley Sqn in January 2007. The new year will begin with active recruitment programmes to gain cadets and adult staff. Current training programmes for cadets will be upgraded and the involvement of Earley with other squadrons will increase.
Adventure Training, Duke of Edinburgh Awards will feature this year along with all the regular cadet activities of flying, gliding, shooting, wing sports, annual camp and qualification exams.
With dedicated staff, enthusiastic cadets and the support of the civilian commmittee and the Wing to make this happen 2007 is going to be an interesting year for the squadron.
