It's normally best to wear school uniform or something smart. This way, you will fit in with the cadets better. That night, you will be given some information and some forms for your parents to sign and then you can come back the very next parade!
When you join you will enter our training flight, giving you all the training that you will need. Including not only the First Class Lessons, but also GDT (Ground Defence Training) and Initiative exercises and Team Exercises.
Not Sure The Air Cadets Is For You
Come down and have a look at the Squadron to see if you think it is for you. There is no pressure to join.
The squadron meets on a Monday and Thursday between 1900hrs and 2130hrs. Cadet membership is open to UK citizens both male and female between 13 and 17 years of age. The upper age limit is 18, unless the cadet has reached the rank of Sergeant, they may continue until their 20th birthday.
